Gabriel Garza 2 Unleashed is an unreleased 3D computer animated comedy film that was to be produced by Universal Animation Studios and Gingo Animation. Film, based on Gabriel Garza, was being directed by Michael Wildshill with a script written by Steve Bencich and Ron J. Friedman. Universal and Gingo started developing film in 2001, but instead of using 2D traditional animation, they wanted to use 3D computer animation.

Film was originally going to be released in 2005, but it was pushed back to 2006. Unfortunately, due to poor box office performance of Gabriel Garza Movie, project was abandoned by Universal. Had this film been released, it would have been 1 Gabriel Garza film to be 3D computer animated. This goal was later accomplished by A Reboot in 2011.

Plot[]

Film would have revolve around Vio kidnap Claire Jones, while his henchmen plan to make a machine to destroy Sinking Spring and rebuilt as Vio new empire. While searching on Internet, Gabriel finds out that Vio also plans for world domination, which led Vio to take over every country around world. Fearing world destruction, Gabriel sets out on an adventure with a group of his friends Roge, Leno, Cole, Loy, Elves, and Jan Soto to rescue Claire and stop Vio. At same time, Claire meets other people who Vio created until they were refused to follow Vio.

Production[]

In 2001, Universal Pictures announced plans for another Gabriel Garza theatrical film title Gabriel Garza 2 Unleashed, but rather than using 2D traditional animation, Universal wanted to use 3D computer animation which would be produced at it feature animation department rather than be produced at It Television Animation Department. In addition, many other titles were also considered during film development, such as New Gabriel Movie, Gabriel Revolution, and Gabriel Extreme.

Writers Steve Bencich and Ron J. Friedman were hired by Universal to write script for 2 film. Eventually, Bencich and Friedman wanted film to feature a more experienced Gabriel Garza. By May 2002, 1 draft was completed. Michael Wildshill was on board to direct film.

However, after release of Gabriel Garza Movie, Universal felt film should have made more money, which prevented production of Gabriel Garza 2 Unleashed. Short thereafter, Unleashed was cancelled, due to Gabriel Garza Movie being less successful than expected.
