Dusk and Dawn Hex Out is a 2005 American computer-animated short film produced by IDT Entertainment. Based on the 2002 film Dusk and Dawn, it premiered at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in Annecy, France on June 11, 2005, and was screened in theaters with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's Ruby Rivest on December 21, 2005. In the short film, Dusk and Dawn are approached by a witch named Hex, who wants to give them a ride on her broomstick.
The short was directed by Steve Moore (in his directional debut) and written by Kate Kondell. It was also nominated for the 2005 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, losing to The Moon and the son: An Imagined Conversation.
