Dogman is an American adult animated television series created by Michael Wildshill for Adult Swim. The series centers on the life of the washed-up superhero Dogman as he struggles to coupe with being a normal person through his secret identity Clark Banner while he also secretly stops crime in his city without causing attention and disturbance. The show is set in the fictional town of Largeville, a parody Smallville, the hometown of DC Comics superhero Superman. It also featured various pop culture references as well as parodies of various figures in the culture as well.

Wildshill had began working on Dogman in 1999, during TeenV's second season, with Ash Brannon at Glass Ball. The studio pitched a twenty-two minute pilot to Cartoon Network in 2000, and the show was greenlit and began production.

The pilot first aired as a sneak peek on Cartoon Network on December 30, 2000.

The series later officially premiered on Adult Swim on May 14, 2001, a week after fellow Adult Swim show Space Ghost Coast to Coast premiered. It ended on April 14, 2004, with a total of 43 episodes, over the course of three seasons. The entire series has been made available on DVD, and other forms of home media, including on demand streaming on Hulu.

Clark Leonard Banner/Dogman (voiced by Phillip Proctor) – A selfish, middle-aged semi-retired superhero who is the main protagonist of the series. Back in the 70's, he used to be one of the most top superheroes at that time, until all superheroes ended up fading from existance leaving him useless and unpowerful. As seen most of the time, whenever Clark sees a criminal causing dangerous behavior, he rips off his suit to become Dogman although due to his age his speed and powers are less powerful.
