BJ And Wally FusionMania is a 2012 American 3D Computer Animated Comedy Film produced by Gingo Animation for Universal Animation Studios. It is the Sequel to BJ And Wally, which was Based on Daily Comic Strip of Same Name.

Zach Braff, Greg Cipes, Matthew Broderick, Joan Cusack, Isla Fisher, Richard Kind, Reese Witherspoon, with Dana Carvey, and William Shatner Reprised their Roles of BJ Wilson, Wally Wilson, Alan Wilson, Janet Wilson, Nina, Jimmy And Jane, Cal, and Dr Pockgins, respectively. New cast members included David Koechner, Sarah Vowell, Roger Craig Smith, Wendie Malick, with Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong. Fusionmania was released on October 4, 2012, received mixed critical reaction and earn over $246 million worldwide.

BJ And Wally is 2 Gingo film, after Computeropolis, to have sequel as well as becoming franchise. In 2006, Gingo Animation announced sequel scheduled for release. Geo G and Michael Wildshill return for film. Zach Braff and Greg Cipes also reprised their roles as BJ Wilson and Wally Wilson, respectively. Gingo began work on sequel with writers Peter Baynham and Stacey Harmon. In 2006, 1 draft of script was completed. In 2007, Gingo announced that film went into production.

Film was originally announced under title BJ And Wally 2. In 2006, Gingo announced title for sequel, Fusionmania, with Geo explaining that BJ and Wally get caught in act over fusion. In 2007, however 2 was remove from title, call it Fusionmania. Gingo staff chose to take out to differentiate it from other Gingo sequels. Sequel title is still promo as Fusionmania in some other territories, though.

Gingo did not have any plan for 3 BJ And Wally film. Wildshill said that studio stop producing films based on BJ And Wally because Fusionmania was not successful enough to be follow by another sequel.

Heitor Pereira, who composed score for 1 film, return to compose score for this film. Soundtrack was released on April 27, 2008 by Varese Sarabande.

Release[]

Fusionmania was originally scheduled for release, but 20th Century Fox move release up to May 16, 2008, as July 2008 slot is take by Fox and Vanguard film Space Chimps. Fusionmania was last Gingo film distributed by Fox, as Gingo has been acquired by Universal Pictures.

Home Media[]

Fusionmania was released on DVD and Blu ray on November 11, 2008, by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
